Who

  • Hospital Council
  • Nursing Leadership Coalition
  • Central California community colleges
  • Hospital nurse leadership

What

The Hospital Council has housed the Computerized Clinical Placement System (CCPS), the program by which all nursing rotations in the Central Valley are scheduled. This was a temporary arrangement, designed to ensure continuity of the program and a steady stream of clinical reparations. Hospital Council has been working with CCPS to find a permanent home for this vital program. A new home for CCPS was found with Health Impact.

Takeaway/Next Steps

Hospital Council will work with the CCPS Steering Committee to transition CCPS to Health Impact by Jan. 1, 2022. This arrangement allows for updated and improved technology and sets nursing education up for a strong future in the Valley.
