On Feb. 2, Hospital Council convened members and public health departments from the four-county area to review the findings of the 2021 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The CHNA was the largest collaboration to date to look at the needs of the region and resulted in thousands of residents surveyed and interviewed. Among the top findings was that the most-often identified need is greater access to health care.
Takeaway/Next Steps
Now that the data have been analyzed, each hospital and health department will work with their advisory groups to determine their specific priority areas for the next three years. Hospital Council will continue to facilitate these meetings.
