Turning the leadership of Providence’s Healdsburg and Petaluma facilities over to Rachel Reeder, Darian Harris joined Providence’s St. Joseph’s and Redwood Memorial hospitals in Humboldt County in August. On Sept. 1, other area hospital CEOs and Hospital Council gathered for a small dinner in historic downtown Eureka to welcome Darian into the fold. The following morning, the same group was joined by additional community stakeholders, including representatives from Partnership HealthPlan, Humboldt County HHS, and Verily’s OneFifteen to talk about workforce, housing, and the ongoing work in behavioral health and substance use disorder being advanced by OneFifteen and Hospital Council.
