Who
- Santa Clara Section CEOs
What
On Aug. 31, the Santa Clara Section held its first in-person meeting since the pandemic and reconnected by sharing their experiences during COVID-19. The leaders shared lessons learned and expressed common challenges with the different health orders and regulations between the state and county.
In addition, the group identified its advocacy priority for the local level, which is to develop a Health Care 101 curriculum for business and community leaders. The curriculum will be developed jointly by the government relations officers and COOs to bring together regulations and operations. The purpose is to help educate both the leaders of our community and the staff of elected officials about the challenges and successes in the health care field.
