Following federal announcements and media in August about booster shots becoming available in September, hospitals in Santa Clara County were invited to join the Sept. 14 Board of Supervisors meeting and report on their plans for dissemination. The Hospital Council is developing a memo on behalf of the hospitals and will make the presentation at the Sept. 14 meeting, noting that all hospitals are awaiting plans and pending guidance from the federal and state governments on eligibility and timing between the second and third doses.
