Hospital Council has been participating in the Good Jobs Challenge grant to fund more nursing education for the Central Valley. Hospital Council has helped the workforce agencies connect with members to provide feedback on what is needed in the future workforce and has facilitated letters of support from members across the Central Valley.
Takeaway/Next Steps
The result of this collaboration is that hospital voices and needs are driving the grant proposal, which has been submitted. If the grant is awarded, Hospital Council will ensure that our members are involved in the implementation phases as we grow the Central Valley’s workforce.
