Hospitals Encouraged to Support CHA’s Ballot Initiative, Oppose Union Efforts 

The California Hospital Association encourages hospital leaders to lend their support to one key ballot initiative and oppose two others:  

Support the Health Care Worker Right to Vote Campaign  

Oppose the Health Care Endangerment Act (compensation cap)   

Oppose the Dangerous Attack on Community Health Centers & Clinics (clinic funding)

CENTRAL VALLEY: Hospital Council participated in the second Future of Medi-Cal Commission Advisory Group meeting. Over the coming months, the group will explore a framework for the program that improves Medi-Cal members’ experience and reduces inequities, strengthens provider participation and capacity, simplifies administration, and creates clear accountability and alignment across participating entities.
