July 1 marks the enrollment deadline for the Hospital Quality Institute’s (HQI’s) health equity reporting support.
Under Assembly Bill 1204 (2021), all hospitals and health systems must submit to the state detailed equity report, including data on patient access, quality, and outcomes by race, ethnicity, language, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and payer. The first report is due Sept. 30.
HQI will host several upcoming webinars to provide more detail on the reporting requirements and how HQI can help streamline the process for hospitals; learn more on the HQI website.
