HASC will host the Essential Human Trafficking Training in Health Care on May 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard.
The workshop will feature:
- An overview of human trafficking crimes and their health connections
- Specific health impacts of trafficking
- Tools for identification and assessment, including trauma-informed care principles, barriers to disclosure, screening tools, and ways to handle documentation
