Information services company Proximo helps its clients turn data into intelligence and use it to better run their organizations. Beginning in 2016, Proximo combined its many years of data and analytics expertise and its considerable supplier diversity experience to create Proveedor, its software-as-a-service platform.
This platform can identify and report on the diverse suppliers that hospitals already work with and facilitate reporting for Assembly Bill 962. That law requires licensed hospitals in California with operating expenses of $50 million or more or a licensed hospital with operating expenses of $25 million or more that is part of a hospital system to report their supplier diversity procurement efforts with minority-, woman-, LGBT-, and veteran-owned businesses. Proximo also offers Supplier Diversity in a Box, which helps hospitals set up a fully functional supplier diversity program in a matter of weeks.
Proximo has a strong commitment to diversity. The company is a certified LGBT Business Enterprise by the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and is a certified disability-owned business enterprise by Disability:IN. It is also certified with the Supplier Clearinghouse for the Utility Supplier Diversity Program of the California Public Utilities Commission. Eager to learn more? Hospital Council will hold a webinar on June 9 at 10 a.m. (PT) to introduce Proximo and Proveedor. For more information, visit the Proximo website.
