What
Hospital Council is hosting meetings with our hospital leaders and county supervisors throughout the East Bay, with a special emphasis on building relationships with the four new county supervisors. In the meetings, we are updating supervisors on the current challenges facing the hospital field, educating them on the 2030 seismic issue, sharing our work with county EMS agencies and others to reduce ambulance patient offload times, and having a dialogue around health equity and opportunities to partner to address the health care needs of our East Bay communities.

Building and maintaining relationships with our county supervisors is key to our success in achieving our advocacy goals as they can be powerful voices in support of our issues and are influential with our state and federal legislators.
