Hospital Council convened with hospital and government relations leaders to meet with Assembly Member Mia Bonta, whose district includes the cities of Alameda, Oakland, and Emeryville. This was our first meeting with Assembly Member Bonta as a hospital group. We had an excellent dialogue on critical issues of mutual interest including access to care, behavioral health, community safety, and food as medicine.
Takeaway / Next Steps
Hospitals will reach out and invite Assembly Member Bonta to visit their facilities. We look forward to future opportunities to meet and work together.
