PG&E Case Study Highlights Partnership with Hospital Council, CHA on Public Safety Power Shutoffs

o highlight the progress that Hospital Council and CHA have made with PG&E to minimize the impacts of public safety power shutoffs on hospitals, the utility company has developed a case study to share with its customers. 

Available via the March edition of PG&E’s Energy Advisor newsletter, the case study outlines key takeaways and action items every business can use while planning for energy resiliency. 

The partnership, which has been ongoing since March 2020, has resulted in more accurate PSPS predictions, improved communications from PG&E about outages, and custom solutions that allowed hospitals to focus on patient care.
