Settlement Checks Are Heading to Some Hospital Council Members

Hospital Council is pleased to announce that its member hospitals will soon be receiving checks through its endorsed business partner MCAG. The total amount for member hospitals participating in MCAG’s services will be over $105,000.

Hospital Council has partnered with MCAG, one of the nation’s largest providers of settlement recovery services, to ensure that member hospitals recover their share from applicable class action settlements. Since partnering with Hospital Council and member hospitals, MCAG has distributed over $1.3 million to our member hospitals. Hospital Council is committed to bringing member value in both traditional and innovative ways.

The MCAG relationship allows hospitals to receive additional funds while maintaining their focus on core business. For members not currently working with MCAG, signing up is easy: 

  1. Visit MCAG’s website for Hospital Council members or visit and enter code NCCA50.
  2. Scroll to the Enrollment Form at the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter your business information and wait for your enrollment confirmation.

The enrollment process is fast, and there is no fee to join. Hospital Council members receive a discount contingency fee of 20%, versus MCAG’s standard fee of 25%. If you are unsure about your organization’s enrollment status, please contact MCAG.

Several settlement opportunities, such as $8 billion available via Blue Cross and Blue Shield benefit plan and Visa/Mastercard settlements*, are currently available to member hospitals. More details can be found by on MCAG’s website for Hospital Council members
