At the Santa Clara Section meeting on Oct. 31, Kaiser – San Jose medical administration leader Priya Smith and Hospital Council RVP Jo Coffaro discussed plans to co-lead a new workforce initiative called Next Gen.
The goal of the initiative is to identify workforce challenges and collaborate with partners such as community clinics, health care nonprofits, and physician groups to find solutions to barriers and challenges. This work will be launched in early 2024 by conducting one-on-one interviews with health care leaders throughout Santa Clara County.
