Advanced Cardiac Care Saves Restaurateur

If it wasn’t for the advanced cardiac care available at Clovis Community, Aaron Vasquez likely wouldn’t have survived his heart attack.

Aaron Vasquez, a 40-year-old family restaurant owner, felt like he was experiencing heartburn when he suddenly became ill and suffered what’s referred to as a “widowmaker heart attack,” of which only 12% survive. Clovis Community Medical Center’s Heart & Lung Institute stepped in and successfully performed emergency triple bypass surgery.
