Hip Replacement Helps Golfer Get Back on the Green

This post has been archived and contains information that may be out of date.

When golfer David Woo first felt the pain in his hip, he figured he had just overexerted himself.

David Woo was active in his younger years, playing a lot of sports. When his hip pain became unbearable, he called the doctor who had helped him with a previous injury.

After a series of tests, Andrew Brooks, MD, of NorthBay Health knew David wouldn’t benefit from arthroscopic surgery and recommended a total hip replacement. Today, David is comfortable playing golf again.
