Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Saves 64-Year-Old from Amputation

Butte County’s only multi-chamber facility applies Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to “promote wound healing,” saving patients from amputation and life-threatening injuries.

At 64-years-old, Rodney Cunningham faced a possible amputation from the knee down after discovering an ulcer on the bottom of his foot that went unnoticed because of his diabetes-related neuropathy. Now, “the wound is closed, and I’m back to my normal life,” Rodney says.
