Webinar Will Detail New Behavioral Health Patient Transfer Technology

Hospital Council is hosting a webinar on March 22 from 1 to 2 p.m. (PT) to discuss XFERALL, a new tool designed to help hospitals reduce the strain on overcrowded emergency departments (EDs) and get behavioral health patients to appropriate behavioral health treatment facilities along the entire continuum of care more quickly.

XFERALL proactively matches patient needs to facility capabilities, connecting health care professionals to nearby facilities with the resources to treat patients’ specific conditions. The result is faster patient transfers and better patient care. Health care organizations in other regions have experienced lower costs and:

  • 86% reduction in patient transfer times
  • 70% of behavioral health patients being placed in an appropriate care facility in under three hours

Attendees can hear how this real-time patient transfer technology works and how it can streamline and create efficient processes eliminating hours of manual staff time transferring behavioral health patients to receiving hospitals, providing richer, aggregated patient transfer data, freeing up ED resources.
