A suicide risk prevention screening workgroup was established to conduct a deeper conversation around workflow, full assessments, reassessments, and trainings to establish standard methods confirmed as best practices. This group of experts developed best practice recommendations on The Joint Commission Standards 15.01.01. This three-page document provides a best course of action to national patient safety goals and elements of performance requirements for suicide screening and assessment.
