Tahoe Forest Health System’s donation of an automated external defibrillator to Nevada County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue will be a great tool to help the all-volunteer organization assist patients who are in cardiac arrest.
Sudden cardiac arrest is among the leading causes of death in the United States and the only way to restore a patient’s regular heart rhythm is with an automated external defibrillator (AED).
That’s why Tahoe Forest Health System donated an AED to the all-volunteer Nevada County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, which relies heavily on contributions from the community.
