San Mateo held its first section meeting of the year in late May. It was a quick meeting to discuss current legislation and what types of activities the CEOs believe make a successful regional association. The health care leaders agreed that having a strong relationship with the Medi-Cal-managed care plan, Health Plan of San Mateo, will be key, especially considering the changes to the CalAIM program.
