Hospital Council’s Central Valley presence includes:

  • The Kern / Eastern Sierra Section, comprised of 14 hospitals that represent over 1,600 licensed beds in Inyo, Kern and Mono Counties.
  • The Fresno / Madera Section, comprised of 12 hospitals that represent over 2,200 licensed beds in Fresno and Madera Counties.
  • The Central Coast Section, comprised of four hospitals that represent approximately 451 licensed beds, in San Luis Obispo County.
  • The Tulare / Kings Section, comprised of four hospitals that represent over 800 licensed beds in Tulare and Kings counties.

    On March 12, Hospital Council is hosting its regular meeting of Central Valley liaison officers, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a method for hospital incident command system liaison officers to share information with the public health department. 

    Ablation Procedure Helps Nurse Overcome Atrial Fibrillation and Live Life to the Fullest

    After nurse Sheri was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation at Adventist Health Simi Valley, she first tried to manage her condition with medication. Her symptoms persisted, so she chose an ablation procedure.  Now she’s thriving and grateful for the care she received: “From the state-of-the-art technology to the compassionate staff, I felt supported every step of the way,” Sheri said.
