Several efforts are underway in Monterey Bay to help build the health care workforce pipeline. In Santa Cruz County, the Health Improvement Partnership is developing listening tours — also called forums or focus groups — with key community stakeholders. Along with these efforts, CSU Monterey Bay, will kick off listening tours in spring 2024 with different educational institutions, health care providers, and community groups focused in Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties.
Takeaway/Next Steps
These efforts are in the planning stages; Health Improvement Partnership’s work will begin in late April, while CSU Monterey Bay’s will begin in June.
